  BIG GUYS - measurements, other gear suggestions

  HOPE THIS HELPS BIG GUYS - see bottom for other gear recommendations cuz buying gear is horrible. I am 58 years old. I have been extremely athletic my entire life. Measurements - 50" waist 50" hips 52" chest 26" thighs 32" inseam 18" calves (hard as stone) 32" from neck bone to wrist 57" around my shoulders and chest 19" neck 18" biceps 10.5" around large part of hand 24.5" Head measurement - Medium or long oval I DON'T wear my pants around my hips and let a big fat belly flop over it and pretend I have a 40" waist. I don't pretend I am big, I really am. I am not fat or sloppy big. I don't have a beer gut and I don't have stretch marks on a fat flopping stomach. Nothing sags and nothing squishes. I actually wear my pants around my waist where my belly button is - LIKE you are supposed to. The MSR pants are the ONLY pants I have tried on that fit my legs, waist and calves, have room for Mobius Knee braces (XL), PLENTY of room for my thighs, AND plenty of room in the back end to sit comfortably on the bike. The water proof pants that MSR makes DO NOT FIT, but these do. I have tried several other brands of pants and nothing works EVEN if the jackets fit. IF you have issues finding pants to fit because you don't let a big fat belly roll over your pants pretending your waist is 12" smaller than it really is, I could highly recommend these MSR pants to you. No idea what I will do when cold weather or rain hits. Good luck and may all clothes manufacturers take note. Lot of big humans out here that are awesome, in shape, built and we need clothes that fit. DO BETTER!!!
