Tube Saddle® is a new insert solution that solves the problem of pinch flats when you’re running low tire pressures between 8 and 12 psi. With a specialized shape and material construction, Tube Saddle® is used along with your regular tire and tube—sitting between the two and filling the space where a tube would normally get pinched against the tire or rim. Since the possibility of pinch flats is virtually eliminated with Tube Saddle® it’s perfect for all types of riding like motocross, enduro, and cross country racing.
Several benefits distinguish tube saddle from competing products. When compared to a "solid foam insert", the Tube Saddle offers a much more customizable setup. Since it uses a traditional tube you can adjust the psi at will instead of being locked into a specific psi equivalent. Additionally since Tube Saddle uses a regular tire and tube, installation is similar to mounting a regular tubed tire. No lube required.
Compared to a "tube-less" system, Tube Saddle provides several of the same benefits but at a much more affordable price. Psi can be adjusted to suit your preference, installation is simple, and you’re free to mount tube saddle with used tires even if the bead is kinked or stretched. More importantly, with Tube Saddle® you don’t need to worry about damaging an inner liner or high pressure area and ruining your investment.
Combined with the facts that Tube Saddle® can be serviced anywhere—including on the trail—and it can last through multiple tire changes, there are plenty of reasons why Tube Saddle® belongs on your bike.
