  These shorts are great but if you pair them with knee braces it can get really hot. i crashed and almost broke my rear end and have been using these shorts ever since. have not taken a spill yet to actually test them but have put a lot of hours in wearing them and don't notice them while riding to bad. they make you look fat in pictures. also they fit way small. i think i normally wear medium underwear and i am wearing an xl in these.

  XL Fits 40-42" waist

  I haven't worn these out on the trail yet, but wanted to give quick review on sizing since I couldn't find a size chart for these anywhere. I got the XL shorts and they fit fine for me. Typically wear a 40-42 waist "under the gut" and a 42-44 "over the gut" They fit fine "under" and will go over but are a little tight.
